CLASSIC COMPUTER GAMES
These computer games are fun and educational. I think of them as mental calisthenics. They all require logical thinking and strategy.
Play them. They will make you smarter.
- Spider Solitaire: https://www.free-spider-solitaire.com
- FreeCell: https://www.free-freecell-solitaire.com/freecell.html
- Mahjong Titans: https://mahjongtitans.com
- Minesweeper: http://minesweeperonline.com
Please read ”How To Play Minesweeper” at before the class.
Strongly Recommend Before the Class
These games are all available online (with annoying ads, but I prefer the classic Windows 7 versions, and I will be using them in this class. I recommend that before the class, you download them to your computer by going to and clicking on Download Windows 7 Games for Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
GET PDF: Classic-Computer-Games
Time permitting, I will demonstrate two additional games: Tetris – game of logic AND dexterity – and The Oregon Trail – ) – a very nice simulation game.
